Probably a joke topic, but I still want to say that it's extremely unlikely. Award shows are biased towards dramas which release towards the end of a year, including ones that haven't even made it into mainstream theaters yet.

I am 100% serious. I feel like they are going to be digging through obscure indies this year trying to find something to win over this or Logan.

The Academy seems to have bias towards those genres (horror in particular).

You say that you're serious then mention that the Academy is biased towards horror when it's very well-known that horror is the least-winning major genre, even behind scifi. As for Logan, you might as claim the Power Rangers movie is in the running.

I am saying that I feel it will win based on the buzz. I watched the trailer and believe that it truly does transform the genre.
I am not saying that it is not well deserved. I personally am not a huge horror fan but am in awe at the tremendous success of Get Out. I just hope Logan gets at-least nominated for something. It may not be groundbreaking like Get Out but it is phenomenal for what it is.

I was saying the Academy is biased against Super Hero movies (Deadpool snub) and horror movies. I think Get Out will win (do not want to Jinx it) given the buzz. However it has some hurdles to overcome because the bias against the genre.
