Topic	Persona 5 is so fucking mainstream now.

It's a bizarre concept of a series. For what it's worth, there's two people in my house playing it right now including myself. It does seem to be mirroring Dark Souls' journey. Starting out as pretty niche, then each entry getting more and more notice, and then it just gets super fucking popular and critically acclaimed while people act like the series still isn't some AAA title. Critical acclaim =/= not niche Not sure what's making you think that's the case. There's plenty of highly reviewed games that are still very niche. While I wouldn't call Persona niche per say, it's still far from even Dark Souls caliber. Maybe with some more spin offs and a Persona 6 it can get there, but it isn't there now. A lot of people are heralding this as the next big chapter in JRPGs. It's gonna hit mainstream exposure. P4 got a lot of people's attention, and Atlus milked that game dry for every penny it was worth with spin offs and updates. It's only a matter of time at this point. If it's not right now, it will be with P6.
