What if I had a pocket knife and gave it to the girl needing it. Then I was fired for bringing something as simple as a pocket knife to work because they considered it a weapon and I didn't get a second chance. That sounds like a possibility to me. If you don't understand number 2 then you clearly haven't been around that type of situation before.

And that's crazy paranoia and a massive character flaw for you.

Going "And that's what happen to da blacks! Whiute peeps dun get it." is just racism.

Look at yourself in the mirror dude

A lot of black American culture in certain situations is to avoid putting yourself in situations where your intentions could come into questions to avoid any situation where racism could play a factor.

The rice situation is a prime example, it's rare for black children to have BB guns and even rarer for them to be allowed outside of the parents sight with them.

Hell I don't even think tamir was allowed out of the house with it

my dad had a BB gun in the 60's and 70's, and used to tell my brother and I how he'd go out and shoot cans with his friends and made it sound awesome. he bought me one in the late 90's, but I couldn't go anywhere but the backyard. had no idea why. he always said "things aren't like it was when I was a kid." I thought he was just being an overprotective douche.

as an adult, I fully understand why. kids aren't allowed to be kids anymore. I'm afraid to bring kids into the world because of the bullshit people like to introduce to kids.

I had friends with guns. some looked real, and I thought they were awesome. my dad wouldn't get me toy guns after I turned 7 though, lol. had plenty Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles though.
