The hive mind comment is when the common thoughts are considered to be the only ones that doesn't acknowledge or discounts any other, likely more prevalent, thoughts in a demographic.

It'd be like assuming most or all white people are racist. That'd be silly, much like it'd be silly to say no white people are racist. When either of those is used as a set standard for a community that is not based on an ideology, but rather on genetics, it's what a hive mind is describing.

And not even a majority of my family has opinions that y'all suggest a majority of black people have.

And you know you have to be fucking up when Nomadic View is calling you on something like that.

You come at me about being wrong but you just use your family as a reference. What about friends? Random people that talk about these things out loud? Do you talk to others about these issues? Maybe it's just a south thing. I would admit that much because I haven't been up north. I've been west for a few years and the people I've meet there have similar views. That was only 2!uears though so that wasn't a ton of time. What annoys me the most is hat you guys seem to act like what I'm saying is false. That it doesn't happen. That I'm full of shit. That's where you are wrong. Just because your family doesn't feel like that doesn't change the fact that it does happen.
