I tried it a few times because I kept hearing how easy it is to get laid, but I'd just give up every time after getting like one legit match in a week. I might still try it again but I've been on probably my longest break from it. I think the people who claim it's really easy to get laid were probably already decent at dating.

I look at it like a job search app - they can help you find a job, but they don't teach you how to get that job. Tinder is pretty much the same thing, but instead of an index of jobs it's just an index of people, which you'll probably apply to lots of but only have some be interested. It helps you find people, but it doesn't teach you how to date or be appealing to them.

If you actually are good at dating already though I can see how it would be useful as you can take away the pretenses people have when they meet through traditional means. It helps you cut right to the chase about what you're after.
