Solaris is nearly perfect (but I believe all of Tarkovsky's films besides Nostalgia are). Perfectly linking the scientific elements of Lem's novel with Tarkovsky's perfect vision, creating a film that explores the emotions of humanity, what it means to be human and what it means to feel love, better than any film I've ever seen I believe.
