That was mostly over the ensuing years. 1984 was when WWE "worked with" other territories to "give them exposure" via WWE's national platform on USA and syndication. Win-win for wrestling and for fans!!! Yay!!! Meanwhile WWE uses this period to find out who and what their fans like the most from these other promotions and then raid them.
