Meeting random strangers is tough... you have to put yourself out there and with the modern internet stuff like Facebook and such average people aren't even receptive to casual conversations in public. I was just talking about this yesterday at the movie theater... people avoid eye contact and any basic socialization skills whatsoever. It kinda pathetic, really. You seem well liked here (even though people are kinda mean, it seems mainly in fun towards you). Lots of good advice in this thread and Chro's suggestion is a good one.
