they are definitely ten times better than your $10 headphones.
they are not, however, twice as good as midrange headphones from shure, sennheiser, grado, audio technica and other headphone manufacturers.
Meh, I actually prefer $10 earbuds to $50 seinheisers. Call me crazy if you want!
