My girlfriend's favourite book series (the hexalogy, I mean). I've also read them. She's also read Liveship Traders, but I'm not really interested in that one. Can't say I feel that strongly about Fitz, but I do think he's quite awesome, as are those around him. It's an amazing world Hobb has crafted. The characters' ambitions and fears, the feeling of despair at certain times... Very well done. Certain things, especially around the resolution of the whole story, were just a tad too convenient, but I have to say these six are among the best books I've ever read.
Yeah, the Hexalogy is my favourite series too, though I'd place it behind a few single books in a full ranking. Liveship Traders I just didn't buy into the ships in the same way as I did the Skill and the Wit. As for Fitz, I rank him and Nighteyes together and consider it impossible to do otherwise.
