oh i agree that THE ULTIMATE OPPORTUNIST came there and it also set how mitb would be used thereafter. it certainly helped his career out but it didn't really define it in any way. not that it was bad of a run (i don't remember enough anyway to say that but i don't remember thinking it sucked) which is good, but it didn't propel him like it did Punk in summer of punk 2, or anywhere close to the level dragon's got now. it gave him some credibility, but edge/hardy i think is what really made it. hilariously too because i would've bet money that matt would've gotten the better of that feud. until he... didn't.
