Yeah, MP3 player failures are pretty random. I've seen Sansas survive a washing machine, I've seen iPods clock out after 4 months of barely being touched, and vice verse in similar situations. My Sansa has been great for me, and my Zen lasted years before that.
Not the Zen I had before that one, though. But that **** had gears in it. You could feel it booting up like a damn laptop.
