Fun fact: Adventure Time with Pen and Jake (yes Pen) was originally a short that premiered on Nickelodeon before it was bought by the folks over at CN. You should watch the pilot since it'll help you see how far the animation and stuff has come!
Can it even be called a pilot since it debuted quite some time ago? Was it already meant to be a series when they aired it?
Dunno actually! All I know is it debuted as an independent short and then much later the same guy Pendle...ton? whatever-his-name-is made it into a full series.
