Is Mario Kart Wii worse than DD!! for local?
Yes. The option to have backseat drivers in DD, letting less skilled racers piggyback along while still providing a fun and important part of the game (item control, mainly) is huge. DD was far more played by my circle of friends than Wii because of this; Wii just isn't as fun for the clearly inferior racers. (Not to mention DD is the better game anyway!)
