The two issues at play here:
1. Israel is using American tax dollars to train sushi chefs, at a time when the US is in a financial crisis and making drastic cuts.
While it's definitely wasteful, I'm sure you could find a number of other comically wasteful uses of tax dollars here in the US too, not something to get bent out of shape at the entire country over.
2. Institutionalized racism.
Now we're getting to the meat of it. Their deplorable treatment of the Palestinian peo--
Israelis like sushi, but they hate Asian people. Solution? An government program to replace Asian chefs with White people.
...why are you so hung up on sushi?
