From the Bookerman:

-Well, the good news is that Book has good chemistry with both Matthews AND Striker, his current partners in the SD! announce booth. That's pretty awesome.
-The bad news is that Matthews is not quite good enough to be calling the high-end matches. Hopefully he improves quickly, because I don't really want Cole on both shows even if I'm not pushing him.
-Hm, some pretty poor psychology. That's annoying.
-I am pretty disappointed with that tag match. I am used to booking more indy-ish feds in this game, so I occasionally expect midcard matches to do better than they do with WWE. Their product prioritizes popularity over skill.
-I happened to glance at the ideal roster screen and we are pretty short on workers. I am not sure what to do with that...we have a bunch of people coming off injury soon, and I will be collecting people for NXT, so that should put us over the threshold, but I don't want to take penalties in the meantime, but hiring enough people to fix it will give us a big surplus when the injuries heal and NXT starts. That's not a horrible thing, though, and I can always boot people to OVW. I'll see what's available. The owner goals aren't going to make it easy by any stretch.

NEWSWIRE

-NOAH kicked off their Powerslave Tour with a bang, giving Kensuke Sasaki the GHC Title and featuring a solid Openweight Hardcore Title defense to boot.

-NJPW's Firehouse Tour also started off with a solid card full of title matches. Naito and Taguchi took home the Jr. Heavyweight tag titles and AKIRA the Jr. Heavyweight.

-IGF put on a decent show as well, highlighting their surprising depth of roster for a promotion of their size.

-TNA Xplosion was slightly underwhelming, with Kazarian failing to carry Gunner Scott to an impressive match.

-PWG has picked up Larry Zybysko. He's issued a statement that he is looking forward to joining their announce team.

-TNA has released road agent Pat Kenney.

-Reports indicate that Luke Gallows has broken his ankle at the recent IGF show.

-CHIKARA has picked up Armando Alejandro Estrada.

-There have been many rumors swirling about concerning Ted Dibiase Sr. but we can confirm that he has signed a contract with NJPW.

-In a shock move, TNA has sacked Eric Bischoff. It remains to be seen what will happen to the remainder of the new guard.

-Y'know, I don't think it's worth it to write up every single tour show for the Japanese promotions, so I will just mention the noteworthy ones.

-AJPW's most recent showing, Fear is Eliminated, failed to impress despite several solid matches in the midcard. The show DID have Kaz Hayashi winning the World Junior title and KENSO and BUSHI emerging victorious for the All Asia Tag Titles.

-NOAH's newest tag team is KENTA and Nakajima, who have already captured the Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles.

-FCW is progressing well, and they have put the FCW Title on Xavier Woods. Could the former Consequences Creed be bound for the big stage?

-NWA From Hollywood got a 47.
