Arguing about the order you like the games is so pointless, noone's changing their mind. Plus noone's giving the correct order, but that's neither here nor there!

FF9's card game is a big letdown. I agree with Lopen that one of the best parts about FF8's is how you can already build up your hand to be awesome before leaving for Timber. Let's see what rare cards you can get by then... Minimog, Quistis, Ifrit, Zell, Squall, Diablos and then losing Minimog so that you can get Kiros on your first visit to Deling City? Whereas with FF9 the only special ones you can get early are by winning the skipping challenge with Vivi. But above all that there's how stupid the rules are. When (in theory) one of the sidequests in the game is learning the rules to your sidequest game there's a problem with the card game. Nevermind the fact that even when you do learn the rules it's still heavily based on random luck. The "no rewards in-game for playing other than a Reflect Ring for winning the tournament" bit doesn't help either.
