Did Federer or Nadal win the award when they were winning that much?
No.
But winning THAT MUCH has almost NEVER happened (including Fed and Nadal).
Nadal had a close season in 2010.
Fededer has had a couple but for Djokovic to do this against Federer and Nadal, it is unbelievable.
I am a Nadal fan and trust me, Djokovic was the athlete of the year.
