You're acting like people didn't start hating S5 way before the finale. Which is totally not the case. Lumen alone drew a ridiculous amount of complaints throughout.

You could go from 4 to 6 and not miss anything.
Not entirely true. You still need the aftermath to S4's cliffhanger in there for S6 to make sense. Otherwise, you are literally ignoring that plot thread. But as for anything new in S5 though, you are pretty much correct.
