ignore the fact that deb sent a lab geek (her brother no less) to collect evidence by himself in a secluded building that served as the hideout for a serial killer. doesn't matter. she saw him.
problems with this episode
nothing happened for 45+ minutes; the harrison kidnapping was entirely contrived - no one watching thought harrison was in any real danger
travis and miami metro have a relationship that can best be described as "iSketch"
dexter lost his boat the same night that there was a RING OF FIRE on the ocean and no one thinks twice
no one died except travis. not even jamie, who probably should have.
laguerta, quinn and louis storylines are comfortably reset to status quo / shoved under the rug
dexter escaped from a skyscraper with a child in a lion costume and an unconscious man wrapped in blankets without anyone noticing
no one went into the crime scene before dexter (god, this scene was so f***ing awful. absolutely horses***)
i could probably go on but i won't
