Thats a total exaggeration. The FF series does well in Europe but it's hardly a juggernaut. FFIX lost ground to Phoenix Wright and FFX to Viewtiful Joe for gods sake. >_>
Sonic and Guybrush/Monkey Island are european juggernauts.
