Ryu/Ken is a well known video game rivalry. It's normal and was expected from them to be strong.
I also just remembered that Street Fighter the series is actually pretty strong.
And as Ryu and Ken are, to my knowledge, the "original two", such a rivalry apparently encapsulates the whole SF series.
Okay, I'm sold.
