I tried to get him to get it.
He played Persona 3: FES and quit halfway through because he hates not controlling everyone.
But yeah games like that are indeed right up his alley but he's already too mad at P3.
Get him Persona 4, you can control all the party members in that one and doesn't require knowledge of the previous games.
Then tell him he's dumb and he should play Persona 3 or P3P anyways.
