Prelude- Boredom and an Idea
“Aw man, why is there nothing good on T.V. during the day,” moaned Catastrophy.
“Well, we could all play a board game,” said the small female figure sitting in an overstuffed bean-bag chair, “we could play Monopoly, Scrabble…. Actually never mind now that I think of it those games lost their appeal to me a few weeks ago and probably longer for the rest of you.”
The other three all nodded in agreement with her statement when suddenly the kid in the group suggested an idea.
“We could hold a random elimination contest or a battle royale,” said the child as if remembering something he saw before, “We could make it like the ones that are on Gamefaqs that you’re always reading!”
“That sounds like a wonderful idea my friend but instead of having one of them why don’t we make a combination of both, that should be twice the fun of having one or the other,” said Catastrophy with overenthusiastic glee.
“Yeah, that would be fun,” said the small male figure in the bean-bag next to the young woman, “Do you want us to start making up a list of people to invite?”
“Heck yeah! I want this thing to be as crazy as possible so invite as many random people as you can but make sure you invite that Pterodictyl guy, he’s f****** hilarious!”
“Okay we’ll start right on that since there’s only the end of Zombie Land on and we’ve seen it around twenty times in the past week,” said the young man, “Sir, should we also add ourselves to the list as well as the kid?”
“Sure. No one’s going to end up permanently dead anyways,” Catastrophy answered with a reassuring tone, “This will give you plenty of exercise.”
“You do know if anyone got a hold of this rooms security footage you would be giving them a “don’t worry about dieing” message which means we won’t have as much fun,” said the kid with a confused look on his face.
“Hey don’t worry,” he said calmly, “They still don’t know what happens if they die a certain number of times and if they answer my questions incorrectly several times for the my bonus questions.”
The kid looked surprised at this comment since Catastrophy usually doesn’t think things through this much before he has it started.
“Sir, how are we going to get all these people here,” asked the small female.
“Why I’ll use my magic to bring them here of course,” chuckled Catastrophy as if the question was one with an easy one to figure out without asking, “But you will need to send them invites to things that they’re actually going to attend and tell me where you sent them so I can transport them here.”
“Okay sir! We will all send them invitations to a party where they think they’ll get the reward of there choice just by going there,” exclaimed the young woman.
“What about this young girl on the list,” asked the boy.
“I’ll come up with that invite myself,” said Catastrophy with a sinister smile that gave the other three chills, “Okay let’s try to get this thing started on Monday.”
As you can tell by the date of this post they got side tracked with Catastrophy retaking the A.C.T.s, watching late night anime, and slept in the following day unable to finish the invites on time and forgetting to do some very important bill paying.
