Even if they are banned, criminals will always have guns, but random crazy schoolkids will NOT. And that's reason enough.

That is seriously the most uneducated thing I've ever heard. "Gun control won't prevent criminals from having them but it's okay for people to legally not have them to defend themselves, because I never actually learned anything about corruption in school".
No wonder Europe is going bankrupt.
