Lots of girls are practically done growing by 16.
I think it's the opposite. I mean physically, sure. But at 18 most people still don't have the maturity and self-esteem to prevent themselves from being manipulated into having sex by older people. People make terrible decicions far into adulthood, as far as I can tell.
The idea that people can't decide if they really want to have sex until they're 18 is kind of crazy, but I understand why the law exists. I think fully grown people ****ing 16 year olds is gross, but I also think you're capable of making the decision at 16. People should just stick to their own age/maturity range... If she hasn't heard of any of the shows you watched when you were a kid.. she's too young imo.
