Welcome to the third KotM contest! In this series of contests we crown the best of the best from various roles in fiction. Icons Ryu Hayabusa and Jack Sparrow have claimed their rightful place as kings of their class; will an iconic and legendary mage follow suit?
Rules:
-You may nominate 10 characters per hour.
-A character requires 3 nominations to enter the field; these must be from separate people.
-I have decided not to impose series limitations, for now. I may still do so if it gets out of hand.
-I will make changes to these rules as I see fit.
Important: What is a Mage/Wizard?
-My Definition: Given this is a much broader context than ninja or pirate, I need to set some ground rules. Thus, I decided to attempt to articulate what I feel qualifies a character for inclusion in this contest.
"An offensive magician whose main powers derive from casting harmful spells."
Intentionally, I want to elimate "healers" and "priests" types from this KotM. I think those are strong enough to have their own contest someday, and I'd rather these contests be as precise as possible. When nominating, please be sure an important part of the character's life is spent casting spells. Though Sephiroth can use magic, he is not a mage or wizard, for example. As always I reserve the right to deny entry to any nomination, but please just use your best judgment and if there's a question about your entry you may attempt to explain it to me from your point of view.
