You know this isn't a bad thing right? If a bunch of people get together and sue Microsoft for something no matter what the payout is each person involved will only see a minuscule amount. Like, cents, an amount most people wouldn't even bother claiming. Meanwhile, Microsoft's lawyers make millions. Waving your right to class action lawsuit just means any legal matter will be arbitrated out of court. Microsoft doesn't have to pay their lawyers and the general result for the consumer is the same.
If it doesn't cost Microsoft as much when they get caught doing something questionable that screws over the consumers, they are going to be more willing to do it.
