Putting Laura Roslin over anyone but Tory is terrible. Every episode I raged about everything she said, everything she did and yeah I was generally pretty mad with her. Can't see the Sharon love either, she (and really the entire series) annoyed me with the LOOK HERA SHE'S SO IMPORTANT and she was just too hysteric for me to care about. Ellen and Cally so low is right, both amazingly annoying chars, though Ellen got more decent towards the end.

Ellen was really bad in "Deadlock". Like amazingly bad. The thing that strikes such a chord with me about "Deadlock" is that she'd become a halfway-competent character rather recently; when she turned out to be the you-know-what (which was my first, long-off guess because of how obvious it would be but I'd always hoped I was wrong) she got a good turnabout in that text dump episode, "No Exit", and then "Deadlock" happens and she's back with a vengeance, more annoying and unnecessary than ever.

As for Roslin, respectfully disagree. Between the character having some of the best snappy one-liners and meme-generators in the entire series and the actress totally bringing her "A" game to every scene nonstop, I simply don't see eye-to-eye with you on this whatsoever.

Sharon's "HERA!" thing is a valid enough point, but I always felt like Grace Park was at her best with the character and it was remarkably easy for me to sympathize with her despite generally not caring for that particular style of character ("woe is me, the unsung mother!") in fiction.

I singled out Gaius' Six because she was by far the most fascinating and interesting. The other Sixes were generally too awkward for my liking.

I loved the awkward. Gaius' Six is indisputably the best but I had such a grand time watching Tricia Helfer manage to carve entirely unique characters left and right. None of them were bad. Caprica Six was marvelous in particular... until "Deadlock", that episode just hurts my brain. And so close to the finale at that.

Did these writers just completely forget that they'd managed to make a compelling eleven-hour finale arc in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine less than a decade prior or something?

But I enjoyed this show a lot, though it did have plenty of problems (really bad episodes, the ending omg I mean Lost is my favourite show ever so I have no right to complain but BSG ending was really no explaining and random stuff EVERYWHERE) Also except for Will Adama no character really is awesome all the way through, like Lee is kinda bland and then becomes pretty wicked in season 4.

I don't dislike your ranking as much as some do, but now I'm puzzled. You dislike the ending enough to point it out but the fourth season remains such a relative high point for you? I guess it just goes to show endings aren't everything.

I think one of the best arcs in the entire series is the middle of the fourth season, so I can still see your point, I suppose. Strike my last.

Also 1 is da best for being the most intense(you know nothing of Cylons and it's all exciting and my god that finale), then season 4 because aside from the first couple of episodes it's really good all the way through you keep wondering what's going to happen, and three and two are last because well hey, two had the worst BSG episodes so it gets last.
