Since July I have piece by piece purchased a real Master Sword, Hylian Shield, Ocarina of Time (a 7 hole, with the bird symbols), the hat, the Gauntlet, a Triforce Pouch for the Ocarina, and the back sheath for the sword. Just need to create the Tunic and buy some boots like that, along with white tights.

I approve of piece-by-piece costume design. Takes awhile but it can look so good.
It ought look good. Not counting shipping and tax.

The boots will probably be like 40, and tights like 10.
So about 470 before tax and shipping.
Totally worth it though. I am on medical leave right now, so I won't actually be working that day, I am still going to go in that costume and talk to people about games. I just won't do the actual selling portion.
The Sword, Shield and Ocarina are not just for the costume though, I really bought them to display in my room (I have the sword and shield mounted on the wall like the Ocarina of Time Symbol, with the sword going through the shield. And I have the Ocarina in a Glass case on a Display Pillow.
