See, that's what I don't get. I'm not an active churchgoer, but I have friends and family who are and not a single one of them is into the God part of Christianity. They instead focus on the tenets of Christianity centered around living a wholesome life doing good deeds for yourself and those around you. Honestly most active Christians don't really care about the magical mumbo jumbo in the Bible.
If someone does not actually believe in God and just says they are a Christian because they believe in the tenets, then I obviously would not be suggesting they are delusional, but they still make no sense to me. I do not need some book written a long time ago with outdated morals to offer me tenets on how to live my life.
