I think I'm pretty much the same way. It's almost like fastforwarding a movie to where you only watch all your favorite scenes if you do it any other way.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with doing that! I do that from time to time!
I also keep save files at favorite places in my favorite games in case I feel like playing just that part, too!
