Tidus, Auron, Yuna, and Jecht are all fantastic, top 15 characters for the series. I don't think any other game in the series can match that. Rikku, Lulu, and Wakka are quite good as well. Kimahri's really not that bad either!
Auron and Jecht, yeah. The rest, not so much. I would rate all of FFVII's cast above them, even Yuffie.
MGS3 definitely has the best video game cast ever.
