"Tons of chances", you say? Tons of chances? By all rights I should still be the LW Champion. My defence was out of nowhere, against two people who never earned their shots, in a tables match. I never got a rematch and lost another tables match against JONA.
I am the best competitor in the Lightweight division. I won the title on my first attempt and I have shown time and time again that there is nobody in this division who can touch me. I would be quite happy to move on to the Middleweight Division, but I want to actually hold the belt one more time before moving on. I want a reign that doesn't end because the bookers were bored, I want a reign that ends because I lost fair and square.
I will always respect the better man. Always. But I have yet to come across "the better man" in this division. I want a worthy opponent and holding the title is a great away of doing that.
