Coworker B: No thanks. Chewing gum is a disgusting habit.
Coworker A: Excuse me?
Coworker B: Chewing gum is a disgusting habit.
Coworker A: But... But you smoke. How can you say chewing gum is a disgusting?
Coworker B: When I have a cigarette it's for a couple of minutes away from everyone else. People who chew gum chew all day long. It's disgusting.
Coworker A: Okay.
Coworker B: Plus that crap rots your teeth.
Coworker A: Actually depending on what kind you chew it's good for you teeth.
Coworker B: Yeah, maybe for a couple of minutes then it just rots them.
There you have it people. Chewing gum is more disgusting than smoking.
In all honesty I can see why you would say it's disgusting if you're surrounded by the stereotype of a teenage, blond bimbo. But justifying it against smoking leaves me kind of baffled.
