Thank you for your service. Why did you get discharged if you dont mind me asking.
Long story short, my billet (job) was filled by someone else while I was deployed to Iraq. What that means is that there wasn't any space in the Marine Corps for me, as odd as that sounds.

isn't honorable discharge when there's good reason?
Basically it means I didn't get in any serious trouble during my ten years.
