kick it up one step higher - they brought this banana in but didn't even throw it until the shootout. At no point in the warm-up, the game, the intermissions or overtime did they do it..... they hung on until that one precise moment.
ExTha and thundersheep pointed out how this happens at soccer games in Europe, and that's to be (sadly) expected by now, but this, happening in my neck of the woods, London, Ontario? When I read the topic title I expected a minor league game in in some bumblef*** area.
The only thing I can hope is it was a fan from Detroit who was in town for the game.
