I could easily tell what was going on in most of the action scenes in the second movie. I could tell what was going on in these as well, which is why I say it was just more of the same. Nothing was fresh this time around, they all used the same tactics and fighting techniques. There was nothing special about any of it this time around. There was nothing special about the second movie either, really, but at least they tried doing something new a few times. I mean Optimus fighting three Decepticons alone was pretty awesome. At least I thought so.

Sentinel Prime waited so long because his ship crashed and he got deactivated. He was supposed to meet up with Megatron, but he crashed, got sent into stasis, and ergo had to wait until Prime reactivated him. After that, he waited until he had a chance to get away with the pillars. Also, the Autobots getting exiled was pretty stupid, but the reasoning was clear: humanity did not think they could beat the decepticons, and wanted the Autobots gone anyway. However, that was communicated poorly and came off as rushed.

This still makes no sense. Why did Sentinel have to wait? All he did was betray them and then forcefully take the pillars, he could have done that at any time. There was no strategy involved there at all except for brute force. And when sending the Autobots away, you say the humans didn't think they could beat the Decepticons (obviously) which is their reason for getting the Autobots off their planet? What? I mean yeah, that's exactly what happened. And it still makes no sense.
