I just saw it. It was definitely not worse than the second one. Most definitely not. The length wasn't ridiculously bad for the actual amount of action therein either. Sure it could have been paced better, but there weren't any vast amounts of actionless snoozefests the likes of which regularly plagued RotF. My only major complaint is that the deaths were lame. All of them. Every last one. Terrible.

I don't understand how people think the action in this was better. There was much more human bull s*** going on this time. I was so bored for about 3/4 of the movie, because nothing was going on. We got a short scene of Optimus fighting a giant worm thing. After that, nothing for a while, then a highway scene, which is so overused that I couldn't enjoy it because it was more of the same. Then the stupid ass "plot twist" that made no sense and lacked any motivation. Then Decepticons have the upper hand and take another hour to do anything with it while everyone else is just lulling around acting like there's no danger.

Then once we do get to the main action part of the movie (after almost two hours), it's mostly boring, nonsensical, and rehashed. There wasn't enough Autobots kicking Decepticon ass. Instead we had the humans doing a bunch of stupid crap that they had no business actually surviving from.

There were some cool parts, but nothing all that great. Optimus vs Megatron and two other Decepticons in the second movie was much better than anything we got in this movie.
