21) Oblivion
We forget so quickly, but the Xbox 360 had one of the weakest launches ever. I never played it, but apparently a goofy snowboard game called Amped 3 (as well as a downloadable gem we will cover later) were all the system has until a couple years later.
I went and bought a 360 in late 2006 on a whim. My ps2 had died and I needed to buy something to hold me over until the Wii came out and CHANGED THE WORLD!!! (lol)
I got a copy of Halo 2, Hitman: Blood Money, Dead Rising, and Elder’s Scrolls.
Never really played Halo, Hitman fun but awkward, Dead Rising I couldn’t read on my TV and Oblivion was freaking awesome. I know I don’t really need to explain why this game is great, I’ll just mention that from August 2006 to November 2006 this is pretty much all I ever did.
I put in over 200 hours of gametime and did pretty much every single bit of contents. The Dark Brotherhood, in particular, is one of the best quest lines in any games ever. Can not wait for some Skyrim love.
