Same with the fat from the burger... it all rests easily... until you introduce the tomato. Well obviously there are limits when constructing a burger especially.

I think having shredded lettuce helps keep it all together. Or, if the lettuce is a single piece, moving it beneath the burger.

The point is if you are the least bit careful you can have a juicier burger without ruining it. Which is much better than a dry burger ^_^.
