I like ketchup with my fries, but I never have that combo anymore. See, in Utah, there's this thing called Fry Sauce. A lot of people assume it to be Mayo+Ketchup, but actual Fry Sauce consist of more.
You haven't truly enjoyed fries until you've had them with Fry Sauce.
Oh, I know. You're talking to a guy who spent a few years traveling the country. Born and raised between New York City and Florida but that didn't prepare me for the culture clashes of other states.
In Arizona when I was working at a Burger King for a few months I'd sometimes get really awkward replies from people when I asked them if they wanted ketchup in their bag. They'd go "uhh, no. Ranch." And that was something.
