I think he means he is opposed to treatments that simply cause you to not have allergic reactions.
They have other treatments that take longer but will eventually make you less allergic to things you are allergic to and eventually not allergic to them at all if possible.
Ah, that's okay, though I was under the impression those were not effective for everyone.
