I doubt that. FFVII was something like a 4:1 favorite over OOT in the Guru. Plenty of people had FFX getting to the final too. It would probably have been closer with a 1v1, but FFVII would have been the Guru favorite.
Also, people who thought LTTP would stand up to OOT- maybe it would in a normal match, where OOT doesn't need it, but in a finals match where it's up against FFVII- you bet those Nintendo fans are going to fall in line. Aw yeah Republicans, I mean, Nintendo fans.
It only took OOT and SSBM being in the same poll for FFX to beat RBY. It crushed it with the incredibly large victory margin of 53-47.
