Pac-Man/Revolver Ocelot will have a special place in my heart. Despite what everything says by the time the picture was revealed hours before the match I think almost everyone knew that Pac-Man had a real shot. A lot of things happened from when the brackets were locked to the match.
- People realizing Ocelot wasn't as strong as some people were saying (it was just barely stronger than Kefka which just barely defeated Pac-Man in 2k3)
- SFF doesn't have to be same company became more accepted
- Luigi/Pac-Man SFF became more accepted
The picture put it over the edge. Best part was almost everyone was happy that Pac-Man won.
