Too much item grinding. I think I prefer Dissi-....wait.
As for teams, it's pretty much Adol, Mishera, Elk, and Dogi, with one of the others kicked out depending on Adol's current weapon. Archer person is an acceptable substitute, hammer person is rather worthless, and spoilers person is just okay.
