No they are not wonderful. They are awful because they taste awful and f*** that frog! He lied to me when he told me that crap was honey-smackin' good, so Dig 'Em can go straight to hell and burn there for all I care! >_>
Real talk, it is not sweet enough- scratch that- they are not sweet at all and are, in fact, fairly bitter, it tastes nothing like anything even resembling honey (much unlike Honey Bunches of Oat or Honey Nut Cheerios), and it leaves an odd aftertaste. And the most unforgivable thing of all is this one time I had to choke down an entire box of the stuff by myself because no one else in my family enjoyed it either, my mom hates wasting food, and she only buys two boxes of cereal at a time and the other box was hers (something nobody else.but her liked).
Bitter? I never got that impression from Honey Smacks at all! I think the only cereal I'd honestly call bitter is regular All-Bran... that stuff is disgusting. Maybe Uncle Sam is kind of bitter, too - but honestly, I think that's a pretty tasty cereal anyway, odd as it is.
I can kind of relate to that story, though! When I was a kid, it wasn't uncommon for my family to only have one cereal in the house: Golden Grahams. Occasionally, I'd get lucky; my parents would sometimes bring home Peanut Butter Crunch, or Crunchberries, or even that old Pokemon cereal that had Oddish and Poliwhirl marshmallows. But Golden Grahams was frequently the only choice... and even though I hate that cereal more than maplejet hates Ulti, I tried to force myself to like it.
That... never happened. :P
