I can't be the only one that thinks Capcom actually loses a lot of money by pulling stuff like this. Maybe it's just me and some of my friends though that purposely hold out on these games Capcom releases and like 4-5 years down the line we've already forgotten about them and never pick them up at all. I mean, I'd really like to buy this game, but I'm not going to. DotA 2 will be out soon enough anyway.
That's what has happened with Namco and the Tales series, it wouldn't surprise me here. Everyone just holds out for the upgraded version, though I think that each new version of SFIV has sold less than the previous one so maybe most people actually do buy the first one in this case.
