Yeah, I tried to tabulate it how they would've done, with equal weight given to sales, NP staff voting, and fan voting. Obviously fan voting and staff voting were total estimates. This was back when Wii Fit was selling insanely well so it got a MASSIVE boost in points from sales tallies.
Remember back in the day when a game would come out and would JUMP in the points standings that month? LttP had like 31,000 points, Star Fox had 29,000, Mortal Kombat had 34,000, Super Metroid had like 28,000? That's what was happening with Wii Fit... every single month for a year and a half.
