lol at the "I like to think" argument. I've written stuff while blackout drunk (and don't remember writing) that has blown my mind. Granted it's often difficult to understand due to the way I word things.

you can have fun without cutting yourself, so by your logic not cutting yourself is stupid...i mean, how can you say it isn't fun until you try? i bet the endorphin rush from the pain would be awesome! brain cells...skin cells...it is all the same :p

well the endorphin rush from burning is pretty amazing and brings about a sense of tranquility. I didn't do it for that though. I needed to calm myself down in order to avoid assaulting someone with a dangerous weapon (probably would've killed the guy) and pressing my hand against a really hot object (around 500 degrees farenheit) was the only way that I could think of to relieve that rage, considering that my go-to methods of punching and smashing stuff would've drawn too much attention to me.
